This is the story we all wished would happen next, with the group – ABBA. The book, FINDING AGNETHA, follows an eleven year old boy from America, who has run away from his broken and violent home, making his way to Sweden to seek out his icon, Agnetha Fältskog, from the band ABBA. He hopes to convince her to get ABBA to perform for the world, after nearly three decades of relative silence. Along the way, people tell him that it will never happen, that he is dreaming, and compounding this is the fact that police from America and Sweden are chasing him down. In spite of the barriers, including the fact that the band members themselves fight back, the young boy refuses to give up and as the adventure unfolds he Tweets about it and creates an international tidal-wave of enthusiam amongst ABBA fans, which washes over the small island where Agnetha Fältskog lives, as thousands of fans from around the world descend upon her estate.
Finding Agnetha is avaiable in English and Swedish through www.amazon.com and other on-line retail outlets in both paperback and e-book for Kindle (Amazon).

About Réal Laplaine
After fifty years of adventures, I sat myself down in front of a computer, opened the door to my imaginative juices, and started writing the stories that I wanted to. Besides the fact that writing is the closest thing to my soul, and gives me the greatest high imaginable, I find that writing is a way to tell the world stories that stretch the imagination. I am all about stepping outside the box - and since I can remember, I have never felt like I fit into the proverbial square hole. I was always looking for the holes in the fence, new doors, new potentials - and my stories reflect this propensity. I am also a strong advocate of human rights - and as such, my books cast a spotlight on sources of oppression in our society. Freedom is my byword, and plots in my books raise the flag on those elements in our society which threaten our freedom.
Other than that, I love a good action novel, I love realistic sci-fi, I am thrilled by the works of Tolkien, Louis L'Amour, Richard Bach, Mark Twain, Cussler and numerous other authors who manage to spin tales which keep us up late at night, reading and stretching the bounds of our world.
I have published three books with a fourth on its way soon - the first in a triolgy about a man who can leave his body at will and who, as a result, discovers some nasty shit and becomes the target of a nationwide search to stop him from revealing what he knows.
